Cosplay Post Part 2

Cosmania! I was really hesitant to go to this event but, hey, my friends convinced me to go – they even paid for my entrance fee! Thank you, thank you.

Now that I’m thinking of this event, I kind of feel regretful that I didn’t wear my Freya costume. I… I… never mind. I had fun though. On with the ukay-ukay costume.

Walter and Madz

  My friend Uretz asked me to help her look for a Walter costume. I think this character was from Hellsing (special thanks to Uretz who kindly informed me). She said she needed a butler costume that’ll fit her (yes, cross-dress!). She already has the pants and shoes, all we need were crisp white long sleeved polo, a vest, and black gloves. Looking for these items weren’t actually difficult – but we have to find something that fits her. Fortunately, we found what we needed – after only an hour of walking around! The polo and the vest came from ukay-ukay (of course) and the leatherette gloves came from Robinson’s Manila Department store.

I wore my lace long sleeves, a ¾ round collar jacket with velvet piping on the collar and on the sleeves, my lace-y skirt (the one I wore for my Freya costume), the lace choker-turned-headband, black socks with lace and black school shoes. It’s an ukay-ukay made costume – everything except my footwear and the headband came from different ukay-ukay shops.
