Christmas Toycon 2008
December 23, 2008I’ve always wanted to cosplay as Chii from Chobits eversince they lent me the ears for the OMAKE promotion video (Chasing Wonderland). So I “planned” to make a costume for the next cosplay event: Christmas Toycon 2008.
Plan:
Red and white loli costume (the theme was to add a Chistmas touch) plus Chobits ears = Chii.
Before: Red Pants
After: Red Skirt
Girl’s Day Out!
Uretz, Nat and I went out the other day to hang-out and have fun. I had to go to Makati before we meet, so I decided to dress-up with my black boots. Here’s one of our pics:
(Uretz is…)
And here’s my outfit:
Outfit: Loose green shirt from a tiangge, black corduroy skirt (the one in my black vest post) from P. Faura ukay-ukay, black garter belt from Robinson’s supermarket, and black boots from Anonas ukay-ukay.
We were drinking margaritas in the middle of the day. LOL.
Ukay Trip
December 14, 2008Last week…
I got frustrated because of a very, very pretty shoe from People are People. Liz showed me the pair of black mary janes she bought from PareP and I fell in love! Since I just got paid from teaching, I went to get my own pair and to my dismay, they don’t have my size anymore. So I vowed that I’ll buy myself a pair of shoes for my birthday.
I looked for other shoes everywhere but nothing caugt my like like those mary janes did. Then, Doms asked me if I wanted to go visit ukay shops in Cubao Ex or in Anonas to look for stuff (shoes specifically. Of course I said yes.
So after a surprise good morning at Doms’s house, we went to Cubao Ex and looked at shops. Err.. too expensive. The most interesting shop was the Solidaridad (huh? I forgot the name) shop where you can have made-to-order boots. I love their designs but it was too expensive for my capacity.
After eating at Wendy’s with Doms’s boyfriend, I went to Anonas alone. After misadventures on how to get there (LOL, I was geographically challenged that day). I entered a shop and DUN DUN DUN… BOOTS!
Yes, I found a good pair of boots.

Three-Skirt Outfit
December 8, 2008
Finally! After weeks and weeks of trying to make a post, I finally have the photo for a new entry. Yay! *applause*
(NOTE: This is not the original outfit - I wore a different shirt for this one.)
This is my three-skirt goth-punk (err..?) outfit. I wore this to school last Saturday. The white sleeve-less turtleneck shirt came from Solo, Sleeveless jacket, black “cheerleader” skirt, lace skirt, and tulle skirt from different Ukay-ukay shops, black and white striped socks from Oshkosh B’gosh, and black Zhin Wei chucks. Oh, I made the tiny top hat myself. (more…)
