Windy Day

It was really, really cold that day. Well, too cold for thin people like me. I’m not really into layering clothes, but since the weather calls for it, might as well do the thing!
This is my “New York” look. The timing was perfect since I had to go to Makati (Ayala area) to visit my boyfriend for his last day at the office (OJT). I stand out among the formal wearing crowd, yet I don’t look too off for the place.
Black and white shirt, tiangge; black cheerleader skirt, ukay-ukay; black velvet jacket, ukay-ukay; windbreaker, Y.R.Y.S.; black footless tights, Divisoria; black socks; Zhin Wei chucks (photo shot by Bernard).
My top originally had shiny buttons. I hated those so I decided to take those off (they were glued) and placed lace ribbons for a little more spunk. Sewing skills helps!
We did a little photoshoot on the street - good thing the street was deserted except for a few cars.

oh, i really like your layering. very minimalist looking with great texture and volume. nice!
