March 13, 2009Hi there! I will be selling a pair of platform boots in a few days (NOT my hara boots). It’s size 6, suede, around 3-4 inch heels. Its striped dark brown and light brown. I will be posting pics in a few day, so watch out.

Basics 2: The Vest
March 11, 2009Vests have become pretty popular nowadays. Last year, the popular kind of vest was the ‘butler vest’ (that’s what I call it), which enhances any look by adding a touch detail to an otherwise plain outfit. It also makes our busts look bigger (problem solved girls!). Loose vests are popular today. I see at least 5 girls (or even guys) wearing a loose vest in a day.
Oh, oh, before I continue, some of the vests I classify here are (I think) cardigans. Err, I just generalize them into one group. Teehee.
Summer Twilight

We all love summer. It’s the perfect time to go swimming or just lounge around the house. Summer also reminds us of our good ‘ol childhood days of playing around the neighborhood all day (no classes!).
But if there’s one thing I hate about summer, it would be the weather. It’s too hot! And because of global warming, it gets hotter everyday. Wearing jeans is a torture. If I could, I’d wear short shorts and sleeveless tops everyday.
Unfortunately, I have to wear ‘decent’ clothes everyday for my teaching job. Well, Saturdays is an exception.
Basics 1: The Black Skirt

I obviously love black. For one, you can go on a whole day without worrying much about your clothes looking dirty. Black also goes well with almost very color. For this post, I’ll concentrate on ht importance of having a good black skirt in your closet.
The first black skirt I bought from ukay-ukay was a black corduroy mini (got it for 20 pesos). I got this one around a year and a half ago, and I’m still using it up to this day. I usually wear it on casual days with a shirt, a vest and sneakers. I also got to use it for semi-formal events, from interviews to baptisms (see my Girl’s Day Out post – yes, I wore boots for my niece’s baptism).
