Summer Twilight

We all love summer. It’s the perfect time to go swimming or just lounge around the house. Summer also reminds us of our good ‘ol childhood days of playing around the neighborhood all day (no classes!).
But if there’s one thing I hate about summer, it would be the weather. It’s too hot! And because of global warming, it gets hotter everyday. Wearing jeans is a torture. If I could, I’d wear short shorts and sleeveless tops everyday.
Unfortunately, I have to wear ‘decent’ clothes everyday for my teaching job. Well, Saturdays is an exception.
I bought this cardigan (?) last week. It’s a nice cover-up for spag-straps and for *ehem* bikinis. It also keeps my back covered and protected from too much sun and unwanted stares.
For some weird reason, it also kept me warm when I got stuck in the LRT. Cool!

Why summer twilight? We were picking photos for this post and came across this one. The first thing I said was “I look like a vampire. Twilight?” I know there’s no such outfit in the movie (well, I didn’t watch the movie) but the ‘wild’, rugged look suggests vampire in my eyes.
