(Warrior) Drummer Girl
June 8, 2009I was a member of the school drum and lyre band when I was in grade school. No, I didn’t play the drums (I play the lyre) but I usually carry my tiny group mate’s big bass drum whenever we go out on parades. I still have my old red uniform.
This jacket reminds me of my band days. I found it at the shop with no name during my Monumento ukay picture-taking. It really looks like a band uniform but the cloth is similar to other regular jackets. It keeps me pretty warm too! Perfect for the rainy season.
For this pic, I figured that I should just stick with how it looks. My brother even lent me his drumsticks for props (he wanted to look for a baton for me – majorette!). I couldn’t think of a proper ‘pose’ that would suit the theme, so I just dished out some cosplayer poses (Ima kill you with my drumsticks!) until we got this one.
