On My Lace Dress and Skirts

I got this dress/top from our Baguio trip, and I’ve always wanted to post it since I really like it. But for some weird reason, I couldn’t come up with a good outfit. Heck, My brother and I already shot this dress twice and for some reason, I don’t really like how it comes out of my camera. But I’ve been lazy, so I’ll just put it out here:

I’m actually infatuated with lace.  I have several pieces at home - I have a collared long-sleeved lace top (I use this with a collared white top for a school girl-ish look), a gothic lace top with frills on the neckline and a lace skirt. I’m trying to expand my ‘lace collection’ for my gothic lolita outfits. Right now, I’m on the hunt for skirts, particularly layered ones like these:

(I actually like this one. Love it!)

I wouldn’t mind adding some touches, like an extra detail here or there, since I kind of need to practice my sewing skillz. Lol.

Also, I’m on the look out for uber cheap ukay clothes that I can use as ‘cloth source’ - more on this after I’m done hacking and slashing (a more civilized term - deconstructing) a relatively ugly velvet dress (I bought the dress for the cloth).

Now back to reading bunny blogs. :)
