Reversible Shirt + New Sandals + Ring
August 25, 2009Remember the beaded shirt I posted last week? This one came along with it:
A reversible shirt! Hah. I used this yesterday with the V-neck side in front (which is actually the backside of the shirt since the tag is on that side). It’s really comfortable, the fabric’s really soft and flowy. It’s very loose but form-fitting at the same time - I didn’t look like a girl wearing a plastic bag yesterday. Oh, those pants? I got those four years ago. I think it’s from BNY but I’m not really sure (I got a lot of BNY stuff in my closet since they sell petite sized clothing). I still like wearing them a lot even if it’s rugged and faded and loose. (more…)
Exploring Polyvore
August 24, 2009When I arrived at the office, I saw Liz tinkering around this website called Polyvore. Polyvore is an online application that allows you to mix and match outfits using photos of your clothes and items that are actually on sale. It’s like making a layout for fashion magazines! I registered about an hour ago and came out with this outfit:

Black on a Sunny Day by Madz Nievera featuring Forever21
The application is very useful since it gives you an idea on what to put together - perfect for planning outfits. And since you can upload photos your own clothes, you can figure out which items would suit your clothes. It also gives us an idea on what to buy for our next shopping trip. As of now, I’m planning to get a pendant, a new chain for my forever necklace, and maybe new bracelets.
I’m still tinkering around the application (I just discovered some buttons here and there), so watch out for more.

Ah, the rock formation. This is still within the UP Diliman campus yet it looks like we’re in a different part of the country. I’m still suprised that I somehow got myself up there.

Ukay Therapy
August 18, 2009I’ve been itching to get some new stuff but I have to save up for new costumes. Actually, I’ll pick up one of my new costumes on Saturday. I’ll wear it on Sunday for Otaku Taiiki at SM Megamall.
But, I just had to get this jacket last night from Monumento (from one of those ukay shops I featured weeks ago):
Lacy Skirt
I’ve been using, no, over-using some of my ukay clothes. Like my hara boots that I wear at least twice a week. Or my corduroy skirt. My black skinny jeans (not from ukay). Blah. So when I went to Cubao a few weeks ago, I decided that I should look for stuff that I could use and over use. Like this skirt:
Yesterday’s Shirt
August 11, 2009My grandma is cool.
When she goes out with her friends, she usually comes home with a bag of clothes from places I don’t know. Then she hands me a nice shirt that I wear all the time. Remember my leaf green top (the loose one)? She got it from a tiangge for 50 pesos. Last Sunday, she came home with yet another bag of clothes. A friend of hers just came home from Seattle and bought some clothes from flea markets and thrift shops around the area where she stayed. She asked my grandma to pick out items that we would like.
She got this one for me:
Project Runway Season 2!!!
I was very pleased with how Project Runway Philippines Season 1 turned out and I was looking forward for season 2. Yii~, I’m excited for the season premiere on August 12 (tomorrow) at 10pm on ETC.
Yay!
Lolita
August 3, 2009It’s Monday! Err, yet another week of calls and whatnots. I’m still tired from yesterday’s get-together with Evil Family (teehee, my cosplay family) - bowling, Timezone and FOOD! World Chicken + Red Ribon’s Choco Mousse cake = LOVE!
Anyway, on to this week’s outfit: Lolita
