Reversible Shirt + New Sandals + Ring

August 25, 2009

Remember the beaded shirt I posted last week? This one came along with it:

A reversible shirt! Hah. I used this yesterday with the V-neck side in front (which is actually the backside of the shirt since the tag is on that side). It’s really comfortable, the fabric’s really soft and flowy. It’s very loose but form-fitting at the same time - I didn’t look like a girl wearing a plastic bag yesterday. Oh, those pants? I got those four years ago. I think it’s from BNY but I’m not really sure (I got a lot of BNY stuff in my closet since they sell petite sized clothing). I still like wearing them a lot even if it’s rugged and faded and loose.

Also, something new in my closet:

Sandals! Grandma got these for me last week and they’re pretty nice. I’m not really sure where she got these, but I saw an OTTO paper bag when she came home that day. As far as I can remember, she bought it for less than 200 pesos.

I like the color grandma chose (dark brown with gold heart print) because I can pair it with almost anything in my closet. It also looks proper enough to wear to the office. I felt awkward at first though since I’m not used to footwear with that kind of strap (I usually wear thong-type slippers or closed shoes).

On to my batch ring:

I’ve been wearing this a lot recently. I like how it looks on my tiny finger, and how the red stone (which is supposed t be maroon but, meh) glows to the light. It also adds a little touch of glam (???) to my outfits. I had my student number engraved inside.

Oh, college years. You don’t know how much I miss you.

Hi Hi :) looove the purple top. love purple! I have some wonderful ukay finds on yer blog here! I read some of your past post. Have you found a pair of flats yet? I went on a hunt some months ago. For the perfect flats. SM Glorietta has a few. Although I spent 3hrs there to no avail. I finally found my perfect pair at Dorthy Perkins. They were almost 2,000 though :( I found a cheaper pair I wear even more often at Tiendesitas - from the bazaar they always have in that open space right before you reach all the clothes shops. They’re called ’shoe factory :) I’ve been playin around with Polyvore as well! We picked the same lovely ring! :D

Wow, 2000? Oh well, it's Dorothy Perkins (I don't have that kind of money tho). I'm eyeing B Club since my friend got her flats there, or I'll just ask my grandma to find me one. :P

My favorite item on that board was the pearl bracelet. I'm thinking of making one like that since I got a lot of faux pearls at home.
