Non-ukay post: Who took my money?
September 14, 2009I haven’t been to an ukay shop for weeks (or at least, it felt like weeks). And this cute little creature is the culprit.

Her name’s Luna. Such a cutie, knows the way to get more food (and treats) from me.
See, I had to have a huge outdoor cage made for her:

It’s not as good as I want it to be, but I spent most of my extra money on it. Plus, I had to shell out munnies for my new ‘business‘. I don’t think she’s that happy about her outdoor cage though. She’s used to her pampered lifestyle as an indoor bunny who gets a free run of the house every night. Our dog isn’t happy either, she keeps on barking at Luna’s every move. Oh well, these two have to get it together.

Hi there! It’s been a loong time since Luna had bald spots on her feet. It was mange.
As of now, she poos and pees all over her new cage (marking), so I can’t really put card boards yet. Thanks for the tip though.

Hi. It’s the wiring of your cage that’s causing the bald spots on Luna’s feet (which then spread to the rest of her body). Rabbits aren’t supposed to be stepping on cage wires because it gives them sore hocks. What most rabbit owners do is line the floor with cardboard so their feet won’t hurt so much. Hope this helps.
