Random Find: Wind-up Alarm Clock
November 4, 2009On my way home last week, I passed by an unfamiliar store with a pink hanbok (a traditional Korean dress) display outside. Curious, I checked out the shop and lo, tons of second-hand stuff from Korea! Too bad I don’t have our camera that night, could’ve taken some pics. I think I have to do a post about these Korean thrift shops, there are three in the Monumento area right now.
There were cups, linen, semi-ornate metal chopsticks (I’m going back for these), figurines, plushies plus more random items you can use at home. It was a small store but I spent at least 15 minutes browsing through stuff. Of all those things, I got myself this:
A wind-up alarm clock, a noisy darn thing to wake me up in the morning. I’ve always wanted to have one, but they’re hard to find (we have ebay, but I don’t like buying items off the internet). Well, it’s not the real thing - I had to get an AA battery for this one. But it works just the same! And its cheap too!
