Non-ukay Post: The Fabric Warehouse

I’m cosplaying a new character on the AME convention on November 28. Yay?
My friends and I are scheduled to meet a seamstress on Saturday, so i need to buy my cloth ASAP. The original plan was to go to Divisoria on Saturday morning, then head to the seamstress in the afternoon. But my instincts told me that: 1. I might wake up late, 2. The extra money I’ll spend on costly mall cloth will be equal to the money I’ll spend on going to Divisoria just to buy cloth, and 3. I still have to buy that special glue for the armor I’m making on Saturday, so I need extra time. Do I make sense here?
My boyfriend, who works in Eastwood, told me that there’s a huge cloth shop near their office. I figured I could save some time and energy by just going there as opposed to strolling through all fabric shops in SM Mega Mall. After getting money from the bank (teehee), I went there and found this:

I almost panicked with all the cloth they have. They have almost every cloth I could imagine. Good thing thay have this little section near the counter for all their fabric samples. But boy, I think I heard my wallet cry hearing the prices.
After scouring through fabric samples like a mad woman, I found one fabric with the perfect color for my costume:
