Random Find: Red Neko JSK
December 21, 2009Three weeks ago, I went to Novaliches with my friend Sayou to have a costume made. She told me there were several ukay shops there, so I asked her to give me a little tour.
There were a LOT of lolita clothes! I swear, I couldn’t cotain myself with all the things I found. And they’re really cheap! It’s a little out of the way, but I love their selection, so I’d probably go back there when I have the time.
This is my favorite find:
A JSK is a shortened term for a jumper skirt (or jumper dress). Its perfect for casual and lolita outfits - instant cute in a dress! Sayou found it and made me try it on - and it was a perfect fit! Its as if the dress was made for me.
Neko prints. I <3 cats.
Llove the print! I wore this dress last Saturday for a get-together party with my cosplay family. And everyone said I look cute. Hee~
JSKs are usually worn with a plain blouse with a round collar or turtle neck. If you want to go for the lolita look, pair it with a ruffled blouse, a petticoat, and mary janes. For a more casual look, wear it with a puff-sleeve blouse, skinny jeans and ballet flats.
