Random Post: My Dolls

Oh hi there! How was your Valentine’s Day? Boyfriend and I spent the whole day strolling around La Mesa Ecopark, had sandwiches, tried the zipline and ended the day with a short trip to Cartimar for some rabbit pellets. It was fun. Maybe I’ll post my video of my zipline ride once we get to upload somewhere.

In other news, our trusty Canon camera’s on vacation at Palawan with my Grandma, hence the lack of posts. I borrowed my boyfriend’s cam to take a pic of my office girl ensemble last week, but I failed to get a decent shot. When I attempted to edit my shots, I found out that our photoshop is wonky. Fail.

I managed to get some pretty decent shots of my doll though. Remember Lilith? Here’s a fairly decent photo of her:

Obviously, I’ve been too lazy to sew her clothes. She’s still wearing a red piece of cloth a.k.a. bubble dress with a petticoat underneath. I’m scouring through doll blogs for dress patterns, so hopefully I can make one before the week ends. Niel of Niel’s Doll Room have some simple patterns available, so I guess I’ll start one based on his patterns.

I also got her a pair of black boots from Divisoria for 50 pesos. There are loads of doll clothes and shoes there, and I feel tempted to just buy her a bunch of clothes. But I will stick to my promise, I will make your clothes Lilith! I’m currently working on a lace headress (lol, my obvious love for headresses) for her. Maybe I should start on her skirt later tonight.
