College Girl
April 25, 2010Sometimes, I wanna go back to college. I miss the care-free lifestyle I had. I miss having afternoon classes and hanging out with my best buds at school everyday. I miss dressing up and not think about wearing ‘appropriate’ clothes.
A few days ago, I just had to wear something that reminds me of my college self.
My new company’s not really that strict about clothes but we are advised to at least look proper - no short skirts, flip-flops, sleeveless tops, no statement shirts plus other things. Pretty basic stuff but I don’t really feel like dressing up when I know there are rules I should follow.
I wore this to work armed with the excuse that my pants are still wet/at the laundry shop, in case the guard asks. Good thing I ‘passed’ the guard’s standards and finished the day without any fuss.

I got these sneaks a few months ago. I was originally planning on selling them since they’re a bit too big, but since I need more shoes, I decided to just keep it. I’m still a bit iffy with the pointy shoe style, but I’m getting used to it.
This is my second outfit with the shoes. I ‘experimented’ with tucking my loose pants in the shoe. I like the ‘dancer’ look of the outfit.

Here you see the pointy tip of the shoe. I usually find sneaks with pointy tips with heels, but this one’s flat.
I like the lining of the shoe too, though I’ll never wear them this way. Teehee~
After wearing these shoes, I decided that I’ll try to dress up more. I’ll try to think of more outfits and feel like a college girl again.

I really miss my college days too, and i am lucky to land in an office that are not strict with the office dress codes, as long as you don’t look like you are fresh out of bed or you are going to the beach
